Plot Synopsis
Having just been released from prison, Tonny (Mads Mikkelsen) discovers that he has a child and a debt to his father, the most vicious gangster in Copenhagen
Pusher II tells the story of Tonny, a small time crook from the Copenhagen underworld, who has just been released from prison. He tries to sort his life out and gain the respect of his father, Smeden, who’s a notorious gangster, but the more he tries, the more trouble he gets – and he suddenly finds himself in a debt to his father that he’s not able to pay.
WITH BLOOD ON MY HANDS a.k.a. PUSHER 2 is the eagerly awaited follow up to the successful and critically acclaimed PUSHER from 1996. The film launched the career of both writer and director Nicolas Winding Refn and actor Mads Mikkelsen, as well as paving the way for the new Danish cinema.
