Plot Synopsis
Dublin. The present. MICHELLE, a hard working lawyer, goes out with IVAN, a doctor. CONOR manages a quiet traditional pub in the city, owned by his father. His life revolves around the pub.
Michelle breaks up with Ivan at a party and wanders into Conor’s pub. She begins to frequent it regularly. They become lovers. It is intense. The first flushes. Heat. She worries about being on the rebound. There is a cooling on her part. They have the first row, which throws everything into sharp relief. Emotions spill over.
They make up, but Ivan reappears and throws the cat among the pigeons. Michelle hasn’t told Conor about Ivan and Conor freaks out. He leaves. He falls out of love with her, just as she falls for him. His father dies. Conor decides to sell up. He meets Michelle on the street and they embrace. It starts all over again.
