Plot Synopsis
Ferraz‘s documentary explores the making of I Am Cuba, the first Cuban-Soviet co-production, unknown in the West until the 1990s. Using clips from the original film and interviews with surviving participants, Ferraz expertly reconstructs Kalatozov‘s collision of deep-set political beliefs and art.
