Plot Synopsis
Texas 1984. A quiet dawn is altered by the sudden gasp of Elena, awakening from a nightmare. Her sister Natalia, whom she has not seen in eight years, is arriving today: it will be a long awaited encounter between them, once very close and later separated by dreadful circumstances. They both left their native Argentina, but for different reasons. Natalia fled the country the night her boyfriend Martin was kidnapped by a paramilitary squad. Still a teenager, she went into exile in Spain and over the years became a journalist, Elena lived in Argentina during the dictatorship and has recently moved to the US with her husband Sebastian and their son Tomas. The sisters are now reunited and the phantoms of the past have to be faced.
