Plot Synopsis
Red Cliff is a Chinese epic film based on the true historic Battle of Red Cliff and events during the end of Han Dynasty and immediately prior to the period of the Three Kingdoms in ancient China. It is the story of numerous battles of wits and forces, on land and on water which eventually culminated into the most famous battle in Chinese history, where two thousand ships were burned, and the course of China’s history was changed forever.
