Plot Synopsis

Psychological thriller PURITAN tells the story of troubled writer Simon Puritan who is struggling through the aftermath of a failed marriage. Puritan has an obsessive interest in paranormal activity and supernatural events and as a result, his main source of income is as a medium in which he brings solace to the bereaved--at a price.

Disgusted with himself after his latest crooked séance, Puritan drowns his sorrows and is subsequently almost killed by a train when he drunkenly lunges on the platform as it pulls into the station. A stranger cries out a warning, but it is too late and Puritan’s actions kick start a series of eerie and unexpected events…

PURITAN is an intelligent and intense edge-of-your-seat thriller, tackling fascinating issues such as time-travel, communication with the dead and the concept of the ‘Fourth Dimension’.
