Plot Synopsis
One morning, the police discover a terrible crime: a body impaled on a pointed stick by the banks of a beautiful lake near Bogotá. To solve the case, journalist Victor Silampa and his occasional companion, office worker Emir Estupiñán, must explore the intricacies of a story that is macabre but very human and entertaining. With the help of Quica, a young prostitute, and after doing a few favours for the Colonel in charge of the case, our protagonists have to risk their lives but manage to get to the bottom of a huge real estate speculation scheme. Corrupt politicians and entrepreneurs, prostitutes, esmeralderos, enthusiastic nudists and journalists of every stripe make up the mosaic of characters, with Bogotá as their setting.
