Plot Synopsis

Louis I Kahn is considered by many architectural historians to have been the most important architect of the second half of the twentieth century. A Jewish immigrant who overcame poverty and the effects of a devastating childhood accident, Kahn created a handful of intensely powerful and spiritual buildings - geometric compositions of brick , concrete and light - which, in the words of one critic, "change your life."
But when Kahn died in 1974, his legacy included more than just his influential contributions to modern architecture: he had led separate lives with three different sets of women and children. In an attempt to come to terms with his complicated feelings for his father, Kahn's illegitimate son Nathaniel embarks on an exploration of his work.
"This impeccably structured documentary is a fine introduction to Kahn's work and a consistently entertaining real-life mystery" - Washington Post
