Omri Goldin was a lead singer of a punk band. Together with his friends, all offspring of army officers, he protested against the militarization of Israeli society. In 2002 Omri was killed in a suicide bus bombing.
This Israeli documentary examines the complexities of one family's life amidst loss, bereavement and constant efforts for peace and reconciliation. The father's dreams of building a joint business venture with his Arab neighbours, the parents efforts to end the circle of violence together with bereaved Palestinian families, and the ceaseless efforts for coexistence make this film a sombre document of hope coming from the heart of an excruciating reality.
