Plot Synopsis

Created by Mike Judge (Beavis and Butthead), the animated King of the Hill follows Texan propane gas salesman and his family and friends in the fictional town, Arlen. Hank, voiced by Judge, is regularly besieged by the peculiarities of American society, but finds solice in his home-life with substitute Spanish teacher Peggy and increasingly bizarre son Bobby. Additional comfort is provided by Hank’s friends; divorced military barber Bill Dauterive, conspiracy nut Dale Gribble and fast-talking ladies man, Boomhauer.
King of the Hill Season 1 introduces the Hills through priceless episodes wuch as Square Peg, where Peggy is recruited to teach Sex Ed, Westie Side Story, where a family of Laotians move into the neighbourhood, and Shins of the Father, where Hank’s father, a chauvinist World War II Veteran with no shins, visits the Hill household.
Once you have become accustomed to the Texan way, crack open a beer for King of the Hill Season Two! The second season delivers such gems as Hilloween, where Hank and the guys set out to save Halloween after it is banned by religious activists and Husky Bobby, where Bobby becomes a model for a line of fat kid clothing.
King of the Hill Season One is being released as a three- disc set and King of the Hill Season Two is being released over four discs. Each box-set is crammed full of special features including commentaries, featurettes, music videos and deleted scenes.
