Plot Synopsis
Directed by filmmaker Howard Hall, the film sets audiences adrift in the unique ecological world of the kelp forest where the interplay of colorful marine life is reminiscent of a carefully choreographed ballet. In this underwater village of coral and rock we witness fascinating behaviors: a male Garibaldi tenaciously protecting its nest, a graceful giant starfish that eats everything in its path, the frenzied mating ritual of squid en masse and the unexplained chewing of kelp stalks by playful sea lions.
