  • Run time: 1 hour 22 mins
  • Release date: 1st January 2006

Plot Synopsis

Life in the fast lane of lavish Bar Mitzvah parties gives director George Valencia a unique platform for spoofing the event organiser’s craze for creating ‘over the top’ family celebrations and parties that rival each other with their themes and lavish designs. This fast moving mockumentary (mock documentary) is a real crowd pleaser for anyone who has ever attended or organized a bar or batmitzvah, and essential viewing for anyone anticipating planning such an event in the future. Includes hilarious scenes of press conferences in multiple languages, and Bar Mitzvah boys mounting showstopper routines that would put a Vegas showgirl to shame. A high intensity, high energy romp through the highs and lows and emotional pitfalls of Jewish celebratory life. It is peopled with outlandish characters who send up the lives of those who make these dreams come true.
