Plot Synopsis

Danny’s life falls to pieces when he is beaten up in front of his children by one of local gangland boss Hennessy’s vicious thugs. Walking around with a broken face and humiliated in front of his children, he doesn’t know where to go or what to do.

Danny’s self-esteem is at zero, and he’s consumed by fear – the fear of confrontation, the fear of speaking out and the fear of being ‘a nobody’ in a tough environment. Always dreaming of becoming a writer, it’s this fear that keeps him in his place.

Having seen Louis and his crew on the doors of the Valhalla nightclub and witnessed their power and strength first hand, it’s not until he meets them face-to-face at the boxing club next door to where he takes his daughters to dance classes that he realises how much he can learn.

Taken in by Louis, Sparky and Rob, Danny is soon taught how to channel his fears, and to fight back. For the first time ever, he feels his life means something. Although sticky at first, his fledgling shifts on the door at Valhalla, start to rebuild his self-confidence.

As Danny and the doormen’s lives become intertwined he is forced to make some terrifying decisions. With Sparky getting drawn deeper and deeper into Hennessey’s world and Rob brutally taxing the dealers, Danny is stuck in the middle of a horrific personal war with bloody and fatal consequences. He must now decide whether to let the fear keep him in his place or step up and conquer it once and for all. For Danny, this decision will alter his life forever.
