Plot Synopsis
“Blood is spilled and it spills more blood…I am dying to live but living to die.” Subliminal, a proud Zionist rapper, is described in the local rap scene as the “reinventor of the Hebrew language". Together with fellow artist MC Tamer, an Israeli Arab, they seek coexistence in the underground Israeli rap scene. This explosive and dynamic documentary explores the tensions between the patriotism of Subliminal’s rhymes and Tamer’s lyrical cry for justice to the Palestinians. Through this highly political musical style, brought from the streets of the US to the Middle East, Channels of Rage takes us on an authentic musical journey, made in Israel.
