Plot Synopsis
Kathy (Manuela Martelli) is 14 years old and lives with her mother, Mercedes (Dark Lorene), and her older brother, Danilo (Felipe Rivers), in a small locality in the coast of Chile. The home is modest and family life goes on in the absence of the father, Radomir Mardovich (Eduardo Barrel), who is in Valparaiso’s penitentiary because of several robberies. Kathy has not seen her father since she was a little girl and, indeed, her life begins to change the day that Mercedes brings her to Valparaiso and takes her to the jail. There Kathy, after being checked up and pushed, meets her father. The encounter hardly lasts minutes, but it produces an enormous impression on the young girl. After a few days, Kathy lives another important change. A new student arrives at her class, Chemo (Ricardo Fernandez), a young dreaming boy with whom she begins to have an intense relation. But life will not be simple for Kathy. And before she realises, she will have to face several unexpected events, including the secrets that her brother hides, the rigors of a feminine boarding school, her dangerous friendship with a transvestite (Juan Pablo Saez) and the awakening of love and sex.
